How I Found Myself Here

It was a big decision to do this. I ask myself often, “How did you find yourself here?”. I can say with a honest heart, mind, and soul that I do know how and by reading this blog you, the reader, will to. I hope.

I am here writing trying to help people. That’s a bit generic so here it goes…I am here to help people like me. People who have experienced what I’ve experienced, who have the same questions as me, but may be to afraid to ask them. I am here writing to provide a forum and a platform to not only set my voice free, but the voices of many others. One of the favorite poems by Marianne Williamson is entitled: Our Deepest Fear.

Her two lines in that poem read as, “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”.

And that is my purpose. No, it’s bigger than that. It is my mission.

I am here to celebrate my new found freedom and to take my voice back. I hope that through me you can find a way to do the same.
